He has done his post-graduation in Economics and Social Work.Bhagwati Prasad KandpalTechnical Associate: Monitoring & EvaluationGulfam joined us from IMRB International where he was working as Associate Director since 2013. Prior to IMRB he was associated with National Mental Health Program, MoHFW in the capacity of a Research Associate. Gulfam holds a master’s degree in Social work from Jamia Milia University. Gulfam carries with him extensive experience in large-scale quantitative research studies that have included the collection of large-scale national level indicators for various studies.Fazlur Rahman GulfamStrategic AnalystFiroz Khan, PLHIV activist joined India HIV/AIDS Alliance in March, 2019. He has been working for well being of people living with HIV & sexual minority since 2003. He has rich experience on linking people on access to treatment, Gender & sexuality, legal & Human Rights and community system strengthening. His core skills includes financial, audit and internal control management.Harchand SinghAssociate: GrantsHarjyot brings nearly a decade of experience in training and capacity building to improve HIV programming. She holds a doctorate in Psychology.Harjyot KhosaRegional Advocacy Advisor: Drug Use & Harm ReductionWith over 15 years’ experience in the development sector, Ira’s core expertise lies in HIV/AIDS & Harm Reduction. Prior to Alliance, she was associated with Duke University/ Sahara Centre for Residential Care & Rehabilitation. Ira holds a Master’s Degree in Sociology.Ira MadanRegional Advocacy Officer: Drug Use & Harm ReductionMunish has 9 years of professional experience in managing Public Health programs at State and National levels. He has experience and expertise in data management and analysis by using tools like power BI, SPSS, advance Excel. He joined Alliance India in 2011 after more than seven years with SAATHII.Rohit SarkarSenior Programme Officer: Sexuality Gender and RightsDr. Sandhya Krishnan is a doctorate in Anthropology. A Gold medalist in M.Sc Anthropology and M.Phil. holder. Her doctorate thesis was on theme of care and support, with an objective to understand the health seeking behavior of WLHIV in Rajasthan. She has a multi-dimensional exposure in the development sector and is actively present in the HIV field for last nine years and was programme officer TI in Kerala TSU.Sandhya KrishnanProgramme Officer: Care & SupportMr Satirtha Chakraborty has over a decade experience in Public Health with in various assignments with Government of India and with International level development partners like Unicef and World Bank supported projects . His major areas of expertise are Epidemiology ,Public Health Informatics, Disease Surveillance, and Monitoring and Evaluation of Public Health Program. Mr Satirtha has two masters in Social Science and Public Health Management.Satirtha ChakrabortySenior Technical Officer: Monitoring & EvaluationSimran brings her personal experience as a hijra to her professional work in HIV/AIDS and human rights over the past decade. A fierce advocate for the right to health, she joined Alliance India in 2010.Simran ShaikhSenior Programme Officer: Sexuality Gender and RightsSudarsanan is a public health specialist with over 5 years’ experience in monitoring, evaluation and program support. Previously, he worked with International Training and Education Centre for Health, Delhi.Sudarsanan KandaswamyTechnical Officer: Monitoring & EvaluationSylvester joined India HIV/AIDS Alliance in 2017. Sylvester brings with him over 18 years of robust experience in HIV sector which includes community mobilisation, developing community based organisations, technical and managerial support for various HIV programmes.
